ThornLearning created a social media content management tool, allowing our client’s dispersed teams to plan, collaborate on, and manage their social media activity.  

Chris worked closely with the British Council’s TeachingEnglish team to develop an excel-based solution that supported workflow, and slotted into existing systems. Our content management tool enabled:

  • Tracking the development of social media posts/assets, from concept, design, QA to posting
  • Content type categorisation
  • User permissions and roles – including the allocation of tasks to specific individuals
  • Planning and tracking content and activity across multiple channels:
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • LinkedIn
    • TikTok
    • X
    • YouTube

A further tool for sharing planned online activity (including webinars, open courses, live sessions and conferences – and supporting digital learning content) was also produced. This tool provides a single point, from which internal users can see all planned activity for a two-month period, and access all supporting resources across multiple platforms.
