ThornLearning ran an online training course for 20 online moderators, providing familiarity with a new Learning Management System (eCom Scotland) and refreshing associated moderation and online tutoring skills.
Chris supported the launch of a forthcoming online teacher training programme for 500 Brazil-based state school teachers, through the set up and delivery of a 10-day online course for prospective moderators. In addition to tutoring services, Chris managed:
- the training timeline, documentation and learning content, and all communications with the trainees.
- LMS administration: creating the course cohort, forum and assignments and managing access and permissions
- enrolment of trainees onto the LMS, and their onboarding.
- moderation of developmental forum discussions.
- ongoing support for the trainees throughout the course.
- regular progress updates and the final course completion report to the client.
