The Building Learning Foundations programme in Rwanda is focused on providing technical assistance in three areas: systems strengthening, school leadership, and teacher development for foundational skills in English and Mathematics in primary grades 1 to 3.
Working with the British Council, Chris supported 60 online participants in Nyagatare, Karongi and Gicumbi districts on the teacher-development strand of the BLF programme, as an online tutor. With an overarching objective of improved language proficiency, Chris delivered weekly input sessions and provided ongoing pedagogic support through the moderation of forum discussions and feedback on assignments.
