We supported Cambridge University Press and Assessment’s collaboration with Atilim University (Ankara) with consultancy services, enabling the introduction of smart learning devices across the English department.

An institutional drive for smart devices (learner tablets and classroom-based smart boards) to be implemented across the English department was supported by an educator development programme. Lecturers and academic staff received input from CUPA teacher trainers before applying learning through a programme of collaborative lesson planning and peer observation. Chris provided support through:

  • Technical and pedagogical review of educator development programme outputs (lesson plans), providing recommendations/feedback on specific plans and the overall approach.
  • Contributions to a best practice guide for supporting learners working with tablets, focusing upon:
    • Learner engagement
    • Managing Learning through tablets and e-books
    • Suggested applications and tools.
