Thorn Learning supported the British Council’s TeachingEnglish website and webinar programme through content development, editorial review, Drupal publishing and live event support, helping maintain a high-quality professional development offer for English language teachers worldwide.
Project overview
TeachingEnglish provides free professional development resources, lesson plans, articles, webinars and learning pathways for English language teachers around the world. Thorn Learning was commissioned to support the ongoing development of this offer through content editing, website maintenance, Drupal page creation and webinar moderation.
The project supported a major programme of website refresh activity, including updates aligned with the new Continuing Professional Development framework, the development of TeachingEnglish learning pathways and the review of existing professional development content. Alongside website work, the project provided support for the monthly TeachingEnglish webinar programme for teachers.
