In 2021 the British Council began a diverse programme of global, open online courses aimed at supporting teachers and their continuing professional development.

The popular 4-week courses, which each have a specific teaching focus, combine online LMS-based modules, an online learning community, live online events and supporting workbook. ThornLearning has supported all aspects of the programme, leading on many, including; learning design, writing and editing learning content, development and production of video content, building courses, LMS management, learning community management, design and production of supporting social media assets, online trainer support, hosting and planning live online events, design and production of workbooks and digital marketing collateral, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation.
